I can't help but laugh and smile when I see this image; the story behind it is quite hilarious. After a much longer drive than anticipated, on top of being hungry and agitated, my partner and I stopped at this lighthouse to take a long exposure of the stunning Milky Way. Pitch black yet with headlamp on, we turned the corner and were met by two sets of glowing eyes in the darkness - it scared the crap out of us! Turns out, it was only a pair of deer, but it set the mood for the rest of the night. Too frightened to stick around long, I took two 30-second long exposures and got the hell out of there. Thankfully, I had this shot in mind and knew what to do, quickly! This is also my favourite Milky Way photo and would love to see how it looks up in your home.
